Release Traceability Systems Limited becomes agent for the Global Traceability Network Belfast/Oslo, September 26th 2006 – Traceability Systems Limited signs Agency agreement and Service Partner agreement with TraceTracker Innovation ASA and becomes TraceTracker’ s first local agent in Ireland and Northern Ireland. Traceability Systems Limited will promote GTNet and consequently help TraceTracker reach new markets and new opportunities. Both companies hope and believe this to be a profitable partnership. The plan is to combine TraceTracker’s globally recognized traceability software with Traceability Systems Limited’s experience and expertise in the Irish and Northern Irish food industry to attract new customers. The goal is to make it simple and cost effective for Irish and Northern Irish companies to share traceability information with their business partners both local and international. TraceTracker has demonstrated the ability to track movements and information about ingredients, products and logistical units. Trace Tracker’s solutions are proven within complex international value chains, such as Norwegian salmon. BASF, the largest chemical company in the world is a strong supporter of TraceTracker. Their Fine Chemicals division uses the TraceTracker global traceability solution, GTNet, to accurately trace their vitamins and food/feed additives with their business partners and across their value chains. Partnering with TraceTracker was a result of a desire to provide the Irish and British Market with a complete and profitable traceability system and the recognition of GTNet as the best solution with which to address this problem. TraceTracker will focus on its technology platform and the technical service and support to make the information available to Traceability Systems Limited and their future customers. “We consider TraceTracker’s GTNet to be an outstanding contribution in the field of Traceability. It is un-rivaled in function and ease of use. GTNet's superiority is evidenced by the quality of its customers. We believe GTNet to be the mark against which all other network solutions will be measured and we expect that it will become the global standard. Traceability Systems are delighted to be associated with Trace Tracker and providing this technology to the Irish and UK food industry and their trading partners, both local and international. “ Says Ruan O’Tiarnaigh, CTO of Traceability Systems Limited.
